The only "real" zoo that I have been able to locate in Delaware is the Brandywine Zoo on North Park Drive in Wilmington, Delaware. There are several other establishments that have animals and will bring them to parties, or classrooms for education, or introductions. But the Brandywine Zoo, is the only zoo that is set up on acreage for guests to visit, and interact with animals year round. Visitors can experience educational programs, keeper reports and discovery tours, along with other seasonal events. They are managed by the Delaware Division of Parks and Recreation, and Accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. For more details, please see the sites listed below.
