The Native Americans often used a plant called "Lamb's Ear". It grows widely and you should be able to find it at your locals nursery and grow your own band-aids!

bandage
A bandage. I know that is a question on a CBT. A bandage is not to be confused with a "dressing" - which is used mainly to dress the wound and control bleeding.
A dressing placed on the wound, and a bandage wrapped over it to hold the dressing in place.
dressing goes over the wound a bandage wraps around to hold it in place.
That would be called a bandage.
The pressure bar increases the pressure on the wound, thus crushing the veins and arteries and stopping the wound from bleeding. The reverse action of the pressure bar and pulling the dressing over the top of the pressure bar multiplies the pressure over the wound.
dressing
To cover a wound on a leg using a roller bandage, gauze must first be applied to the injury. The main point of a roller bandage is to secure other dressings for the wound. A roller bandage, as the name suggests, is rolled around the wound and then tied off. The knot should be placed directly over, or as close as possible to the location of the wound.
A bandage is a strip of material used to hold the dressing in place, while a dressing is a protective cover that's placed over a wound.
