A natural environment that has remained essentially undisturbed by human activity is the lithosphere. This is the surface below the earth which only allows natural activities as the high temperatures keep humans away.
After 150 years of being undisturbed, the abandoned farm would likely be reclaimed by native vegetation such as grasses, wildflowers, shrubs, and small trees. Over time, a diverse ecosystem could establish itself with a mix of pioneer species and late-successional plants.
Essentially nothing. At the time of the invention of the solar system there was nothing in it that was considered worth protecting, a mindset that has remained till this day.
The Canadian Shield is a large part of the North American craton. It is a stable geological region made up of ancient rocks that have remained relatively undisturbed for billions of years.
Absorption of heat from the environment cause evaporation; the remained residue is a crystalline substance.
Japan was ruled by the Tokugawa Shogunate, essentially a Feudalistic confederacy that remained closed to the rest of the world, until the Meiji Restoration.
Their then would be a decrease in the amount of owls in the environment as well as the owl's prey!! :)
The population of meerkats has remained essentially stable over the past 50 years. These animals are not considered threatened or endangered and are not a serious concern in the native territories.
Carl Rogers was one of the men who made the humanistic perspective in psychology. The humanistic perspective states that all humans are born essentially good and only through the evils of materialistic society do they become evil and corrupt. So, if everyone remained positive and were in a positive environment, all people would be able to grow to their fullest potential. A positive environment with total acceptance is key. Of course this isn't possible though, but it is an interesting theory.
Interior regions of tectonic plates, often referred to as cratons, are geologically stable due to their thick, ancient continental crust that has remained largely undisturbed for millions of years. These areas are typically far from tectonic plate boundaries where most seismic and volcanic activity occurs, leading to lower levels of deformation and geological change. Additionally, the lithosphere in these regions is rigid and well-supported by the underlying mantle, contributing to their stability over geological timescales.
You would see hardwood trees starting to overgrow the pine trees that had grown in the abandoned fields.
The denouement occurs when Montresor finishes telling the story of the murder of Fortunato by saying that Fortunato has remained within the bricked in room in the cellar undisturbed for the past 50 years. It is also the denouement of Fortunato himself. The denouement is the last part of the story where all the loose ends and plot lines are resolved completely. Since Montresor intended his act of vengeance to be undiscoverable, the reader doesn't know that until Montresor says that Fortunato has rested undisturbed behind the wall for the past 50 years.
