This license is usually provided to farmers and drivers of authorized emergency vehicles. The class E license is the most common. I have this license. It pertains to any vehicle weighing less than 26,001 pounds, mopeds and small scooters included. Anyone with this license may drive until the license expires. Once expired, it must be renewed. The vehicle must be less than 8,000 pounds and a person 21 years or older who has a driver license must be sitting on the passenger seat the entire time. People with this license can only drive during daylight hours the first three months, then from 6:00AM to 10:00PM thereafter. This person may not operate a motorcycle with this license.
