I actually went to the dr yesterday and my resting heart rate was over 100. That is not normal and she recommended that I have my thyroid checked. You definitely need to see a dr if you have a high heart rate.

resting heart rate is how many times your heart beats, at complete rest.... like when you wake up in the morning... it should be around 70.. anything over 89 is unhealthy... lance Armstrong's resting HR is around 35 i believe... If your testing it correctly and still have one of 120 i suggest you take on some gradual exercise.. and work your way up.. resting heart rate is how many times your heart beats, at complete rest.... like when you wake up in the morning... it should be around 70.. anything over 89 is unhealthy... lance Armstrong's resting HR is around 35 i believe... Resting hart does not rest over time.
The child's heart rate is pretty normal. The normal heart rate for a resting 6 year old is about 70-120, so they're right in the middle. For resting heart rate: * Newborn infants: 100 - 160 beats per minute * Children 1 to 10 years: 70 - 120 beats per minute * Children over 10 and adults (including seniors): 60 - 100 beats per minute * Well-trained athletes: 40 - 60 beats per minute
A normal resting heart rate for a 6 year old child is between 18 and 30 beats per minute. The normal blood pressure is 70 over 120. You should seek medical attention right away.
