An "Onagadori" is a Japanese Longtailed Chicken. Might be used for other names but more commonly referred to as the "Long-tailed Fowl". O-Naga-Dor(i)e. In Japan, there are records of 20+ foot tails of the color White, Silver, Golden and BBRed (Black-Breasted Red). Even though there are some in the U.S.A, none are really pure like those in Japan. However, there are breeders who have high percentages of the Onagadori gene in their fowls like of Mr. Hydes who is the original "first" known breeder/distributor of these in America.
