In general, capitalize the specific names of school subjects when used in a title or heading. However, when used in a sentence or text, only capitalize the subject if it is a proper noun or part of the title of a course. For example, "I enjoy studying English literature" versus "I am taking a course in History this semester."
I believe it depends on what school you go to. Of course many colleges offer different theatre courses, some of which you do act as a part of the course. These acting courses will help you with your acting and how to improve on character analyses or defining your character in depth. Also if you are interested in theatre and want to be involved, colleges have theatre departments and will hold auditions for their productions. You'll be able to act as well as go to school. There are many ways to get involved with acting in college.
