Neti pot is a small teapot used to give yourself a salt water nasal wash to clear the sinuses. You can compromise with a small container with a spout on it. If you use tap water, you must boil the water and emerge the container you use in it to sterilize it as well. Plain tap water is stagnate and can cause dangerous infections. Tilt your head over a sink and tilt you head at a 45 degree angle and pour the solution in one nostril causing it to drain out the opposite nostril Repeat for other side. 1/4 tsp of salt to 8 ozs. of boiled or distilled water.
