"Standing on dangerous ground" It is not enough just to believe in God. James 2:19, " You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe---- and tremble."
Believing in God is not enough. You need to believe in God's Son, Jesus Christ to have a saving faith. And when you believe in Jesus Christ you will be more than religious, you will be a child of the King. The Bible (New Testament) tells us this over and over.
If at one time you gave yourself to God, God the Father, and God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit but have for sometime a coldness in your heart it would be best to examine your faith, to see if you are really a believer.
If you find yourself to be an unbeliever seek out a Godly Christian and they can lead you to Christ. (Also read John 3: 1-8 and Romans 10: 9-11.)
Possibly the best term would be "pantheist". Pantheism is the philosophy that "God" and the Universe (Nature) are the same. Pantheists do not believe in a God in the common and traditional sense of a personal creator being. Some Pantheists recognize the intelligence involved in the rational and systematic functioning of Nature and the Universe, which is not necessarily intentional but is "minded" in a sense.
When you believe there is a higher power but do not follow a particular religion, you are a Deist. An Agnostic is one who does not know if there is a higher power or is uncertain of the existence of a higher power.

It is called being religious (Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, etc according to which higher power you believe in) while, at the same time, accepting the facts of science. Many Christians, for example, do just that - believe in evolution. For more information about religion and evolution, please visit: http://christianity.answers.com/theology/the-story-of-creation
Atheists do not believe in a god/gods or higher power. Agnostics do believe in a god/gods but believe their/its existence or lack thereof can not be proven. This does not imply the lack of a religion as by this classification Buddhists are atheists.
