The scorpion is in the Minotaur's maze, the Labyrinth, but he is easily jumped over.
When you solve the Bones puzzle (spell out the word T-E-N in bones), go down, up left, then back down to the right to reach the scorpion pit. You only need to jump over the scorpion.
Jump over it and move right, where you can exit the pit.
Yes,I read it in my book Percy Jackson and the Olympians, which has some fiction and some facts. They can jump up to 15 feet and when their venom is injected in you,you die in a minute. So there you have it.
That Percy almost died because of the pit scorpion.
For the scorpion pit, click each of the sideways lines (-) exactly once, and they will all line up (----).
The only "bridge" in the tomb at Giza is across the Scorpion Pit. When you reach the doorway, there are 4 lines on the wall (-|--) that indicate the floor inside the scorpion chamber. To walk above the pit, all four lines have to be sideways (----). You can do this by pressing each of the sideways lines (1st, 3rd, 4th) exactly once, and when you have, all 4 lines will be sideways (----). Otherwise, you cannot get past the scorpion. (For the collapsing block challenge, see the related question.)
There are no spiders. There is a scorpion in the tomb at Giza. (Line up the wall lines outside the pit so that they look like this ---- )
In order to pass the scorpion chamber, all of the lines have to be horizontal (----). The easiest way is to simply press each of the horizontal lines once (the first, third, and fourth lines).
The dashes -|-- on the wall indicate the positions of the stones that cross the scorpion pit. To get them all sideways (----) press the ones that are already dashes (1, 3, 4) once each. Now you can cross the pit.
The pathway across the scorpion pit has a sign (-|--) that means that one of the upper path stones is tilted up. To cross over the scorpion, press the three (-) symbols once apiece, leaving the symbols (----).
Unlike most animals, the eastern pit scorpion has the ability to concentrate ultrasound waves into its pupils causing a bright and piercing light to shoot from its eyeballs. This is where most movies and comic books get the idea of laser beam eyes.
