Negative feed back, is where some of the output is fed back to the input, in reverse phase. This limits the output, to protect the circuit and improve stability and fidelity.

Positive feedback is when some of the output signal is fed back to the input in phase. This generally causes the circuit to run away into oscillation. The popular use is to turn a simple amplifier into an oscillator, for use in radio circuits and timing.

It is also an unpleasant symptom of a badly set up Public address system, when the microphone hears the output from the speakers, which is then reinforced and you get unwanted oscillation, known as 'Howl round'.

Feedback is when the body reacts in the same direction as a stimulus. Negative Positive?

Feedback can be both negative and positive. Negative feedback occurs when the body's response counteracts the stimulus, helping to maintain homeostasis. Positive feedback amplifies the stimulus, leading to a larger response.

What are the example of negative and positive feedback in geography?

A negative feedback would be if the planet heats up, the glaciers will melt, lowering the albedo effect of the snow, and in turn causing the planet to heat up more That is positive feedback, not negative. Positive feedback enhances the initial stimulus, negative feedback reverses the initial stimulus. The planet starts by heating up, then heats up even more, which is positive feedback.
