One form of Trypanosoma Brucei - the protozoan parasite that causes sleeping sickness.

"Procyclic Trypomastigote" is singular tense for one of the two non-infectious, non-propogating forms present in infected mammals and adapted to be ingested by the TseTse fly. Once it has been ingested, it migrates through several parts of the fly's digestive system, changes into several different forms, before ending up as a propogating, infectious form in the fly's salivary glands.
