A Sunday bite is when someone with a more prominent upper jaw juts the chin (lower jaw) forward to make the upper jaw look less prominent. this is purely 'psychological' and is done for 'esthetics '... The true reason for the origin is- in US 'Sunday' mass(celebrations) in the churches the choir (group of people who would sing) had the habit of placing the lower jaw ahead in order to look good.. A person with a prominent jawline is considered to be esthetic..!! Hence,the name!!!

No, a shot jaw doesn't mean inbred, it's just an unfortunate deviation of the 'normal' jaw, as set down in the breed standard. I have three Lhasa's and one of them has a quite prominent lower jaw, whereas my other two are as near to perfect you can get. Hope this answers your queation
