A Renga poem is similar to a haiku poem consisting of a few stanzas. (paragraphs)

Each stanza has a certain amount of syllables on each line. The first line consists of 5 syllables the next 7 and finally 5. Each stanza includes 3 lines and must contain that order of syllables.
