As fast as you can get it while staying within amd's vcore specifecation with the temperature under control. It's not high clock speed that will kill or reduce the life of the chip, it's higher vcore, because it causes electromigration in the chip, and higher heat which cased by the higher vcore and clock speeds.
The only way to increase the processor speed is by overclocking. Through overclocking, you can increase the overall speed of the processor.
It's called "overclocking".
It could overheat or have process errors
The processor speed of the Toshiba Satellite A355D-S6930 AMD Turion X2 Ultra Dual-Core Mobile Processor Laptop is 2.1 GHz.
Overclocking
Depends on what their Clock Speed Is, Clock Speed Is measured in GHz, the higher the number the better the processor. For Instance an Intel Core 2 Duo could have a clock speed of 2.00 GHz and that would be better than a AMD Turion Clock speed of 1.73 GHz.
Depends on it's processor speed, graphics card, and processor type as well.
If you are talking about the top speed a CPU can go, that is usually measured by overclocking the processor, which makes it faster than it already is. So the fastest clock speed would be whatever the overclocking speed is. If you were asking about the fastest clock speed for a CPU on the market is right now, that would probably be around 4.0 GHz. To increase the clock speed of your CPU, you need to either look into overclocking (which is dangerous) or buying a new processor (which will cost anywhere from $40 to over $1000).
Because the motherboard/processor is designed with that speed in mind, so overheating and various other issues can occur much more frequently at higher speeds. Also, the process of running hardware at a higher speed than is standard is called overclocking.
1. The AMD Turion X2 is available in a variety of speeds. We have no way of knowing what your computer is equipped with without more information.2. Yes, it is possible in most cases to remove or upgrade a Turion.3. We have no way of knowing your level of technical competency, so we cannot judge whether or not you are capable of doing it yourself.
