Crysolite means " golden stone" in greek
Sardius' Color-Is a brownish-red. The color can vary greatly, ranging from pale orange to an intense almost-black coloration.
The correct spelling is chrysolite (the gem chrysoberyl, or the mineral olivine).

"Carnelian is a precious stone of blood-red color that during Bible History was sometimes called "Sardine stone," or "sardius" because in ancient times it was obtained from Sardis in Asia Minor." If you are looking to buy a "Sardius stone" you can find these for sale all over the internet, as long as you search for "Carnelian". I have seen a lot of Carnelian stones for sale on eBay at very reasonable prices.
