Scientific reasoning requires a logical way of thinking based on gathering and evaluating evidence .There are two types of Scientific reasoning can be deductive or inductive.
A scientific description requires accurate measurement and observation, with as much detail as the scientist can manage. Sometimes it is the small details which are the most revealing.
Answering a question can be done by simply stating your opinion on an issue or by giving what you believe to be the proper answer. A science inquiry on the other hand requires you stick to established scientific methods of inquiry (read available scientific literature on the issue, find out what scientific consensus currently is, take into account credible alternative hypothesis, do scientific research, etc.) and the outcome of scientific inquiry does not necessarily have to coincide with what your opinion on the issue was before you started the inquiry.
It does not require glucose directly. In cellular respiration any molecule that is within the pathway and is available can be used in cellular respiration. But in lamen explanation glucose is the most popular example used in the beginning of the aerobic repiration pathway.
It takes a lot of effort to ensure that an observation is free of predudice. The true double blind experiment requires a lot of 'super-structure' to go in between the observer and the experiment.
The first step of the scientific method requires scientists to observe in order to obtain information. The next step is to formulate a hypothesis.
The scientific method requires reproducibility. I would not think you could skip or rearrange any steps. You need to do the same things in the same order to arrive at the same resolution for the scientific method to be properly applied.

The scientific method requires you to have a hypothesis and test it systematically in a way that can be repeated by others. Experiments that do not follow this system are not using the scientific method.
