I believe the head is the part of the speedometer that is directly behind the faceplate of the gauge. It takes the input from the cable spinning at X rpm's (or sensor if electronic) and converts it mechanically into what your speedometer gauge indicates on the faceplate.
The fraction itself.
The numerator
Are you talking about the digital speedometer or the whole dashboard? .
The name of their mother is not referenced to and she's not mentioned throughout the whole series.
the little gear that turns the numbers is broke and the only way to fix is replace the whole speedometer.
The numerator does, but you still have to know the denominatorin order to know the size of the portion.
If the odometer stopped working and the speedometer and cruise control still work, you have a bad odometer. It is part of the speedometer assembly so the whole thing will have to be replaced.
Nope, bet it was the other way around... Your speedometer stopped working and your check engine light came on. A broken speedometer (don't know what car so I can't pinpoint it) will cause a whole bunch of codes.
get a used one and replace the computer chip on the back of your speedometer. you have to pull the whole cluster apart. There are two screws above the radio so you will have to pull that out to to get the cluster out
The speedometer sensor is located on the top of the transmission. It is held on by one bolt. Remove the bolt and gently pull and turn the speedometer sensor and the whole assembly will come out of your transmission. is that on a manual or auto tranny? or is it in the same place for both?
Yes, you have to remove the whole cluster. Fun, Fun.
There is no speedometer cable on a 1995 caravan. it is done by a speed sensor on the transmission and digtal data is sent to the computer and the computer then sends the signal to the speedometer. This is the case even when the speedometer looks analog. Likely a bad speedometer is the cause if it does not move as the speed sensor is used for other functions and would trip the "check engine" light if it was bad. the speedometer is part of the instrument cluster and likely you would need to change the whole thing.
