This is Jesus promising His obedient disciples the indwelling of the Holy Spirit after His physical departure, which He further reveals to be Himself in the spirit.

The indwelling of the Holy Spirit, is not only Jesus Himself, but God the Father as well. Jesus is 'in' the Father as all disciples are in Jesus - One Family all begotten of the Father as the Scripture reveals.
