Best Answer

Structural proteins provide a means of support for cells and is the basis of the shape of organelles in a cell. For example, why people have curly or straight hair is based on the type of a structural protein. Whether the insoluble fiber is an alpha (straight alignment) or beta (curved alignment) allows for the different type of hair.
