Summary on Contents of the Dead Man's Pocket:

The main character's name is Tom, and he has an important yellow work paper on his desk. All of a sudden, the wind picked up and blew the yellow paper out of his 11th story apartment window. Tom looked out his window and saw that the paper was stuck in a corner where two walls come together. Without hesitating, Tom climbed out his window onto the ledge and crawled slowly across the side of his apartment building. He eventually reached his paper, and crawled back to his window, but somehow it closed. He almost falls off a few times, but then he punches the window to brake it and he crawled in and put the paper back on his desk with a pencil over it, the wind picked up again and the paper was gone.
