There are many kind of true bacterias, since they are all around and on us. But here is one type of true bacteria. It's the blue green bacteria that you sometimes see on the edge of ponds. This is a green slimy growth.
A true bacteria doesn't have, like most prokaryotes, a nucleus. They also often have circular DNA. Bacteria use binary fission to grow, unlike eukaryote cells that have to go through meiosis/mitosis first. Bacteria do not have membrane bound organelles, like mitochondria or Golgi apparatus, like eukaryotes have. Many kinds of bacteria have motility thanks to their flagellum.
Gram positive bacterias (G+) have a cell wall consisting of a thicker layer of peptidoclycan than the gram negative (G-) ones. The G- cells also have two layers of plasma membrane, one above the peptidoglycan and one below. This causes the cell to give a negative gram stain.

The scientific name for true bacteria is Eubacteria. This is also its kingdom name. They are also called Monera in some occasions.
true bacteria is eubacteria which is one of the third domain of life.
The truth about a large group of bacteria is that they have rigid cell walls.

Eubacteria
Eukaryotic bacteria are bacteria that have a delineated nucleus and organ bound organelles. They are the "true" bacteria.
The Monera Kingdom contains the true bacteria.
