Afuel is a material that releases energy when it burns. These fossil fuels---energy-rich substances ormed from the remains of organisms or as you might say; plants and animals. That was just a reminder for you,the real answer is right here:The potential chemical energy in fossil fuels and food was stored by plants that converted the sun's radiant energy into chemical energy. Now that was the real answer, oyur welcome,Tracey Nichole Gordon.
thermal energy
Burning one ton of fossil fuel produces around 3 tons of carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide in the atmosphere increases the greenhouse effect, because it allows the short-wavelength radiation from the Sun to pass through to heat the Earth's surface, while partially blocking heat that is radiated away at longer wavelengths - longer because the source is at a lower temperature. Thus the surface temperature rises.
The extreme greenhouse effect can be seen on on the planet Venus, which has a 93% carbon dioxide atmosphere, and the temperature is 400-500 degrees C (up to 1000 Fahrenheit).
Fossil fuels are the primary source of energy today. The only other realistic source for real energy demands is Nuclear Power. Small amounts can be made through the construction of hydro and geo thermal, but the only real usable fuel due to laws against nuclear is fossil fuels.
We have a limited supply of this fuel. Oil is one example of a limited fossil fuel. The United States has roughly 400 years of oil left in the Green River Reserve. We have about half that in the North Dakota reserve. This is less then seven times the oil in the Middle East.
Fossil fuels are the only real source we have for the energy needs of today.
Fossil fuels are a form of chemical energy.
Fossil fuels contain chemical energy, which is a form of potential energy.
Fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) are sources of energy. This is released by combustion (burning).
Fossil fuels contain chemical energy; chemical energy is a type of potential energy.
thermal energy
imnot 100% sure, but i think fossil fuels are from man made products and energy resources are natural products
Fossil fuels are made up of compounds called hydrocarbons. Fossil fuels are fuels that come from natural resources, such as dead organisms.
Due to heavy pressure and temperature of catastrophic upheavals
Fossil fuels are not made from the fossils of dinosaurs.
They are all burned when used as energy sources (apex)

Fossil fuels are the forms of energy made from the remains of dead plants and small creatures. Examples of fossil fuels are coal and natural gas.
A non-renewable source of energy.
It makes coal, oil, and gas.

Fossil fuels are made from plant and vegetable matter that died millions of years ago. The plants and vegetables got their energy from the main energy source around here - our sun. Essentially, fossil fuels can be regarded as stored energy from the sun. We use/release that energy again by burning the fuel.
well, you have renewable energy such as wind power, wave power etc... all this generates electricity without burning fossil fuels
no electricity is made from fossil fuels.
fossil fuels
The sun. Fossil fuels are made up of plants and animals that lived in the past and have been converted to fossil fuels by geological processes over time. And as plants convert the suns energy into sugars, fossil fuels are stored solar energy.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The energy comes from the energy that was previously in dead plants/animals... to understand better read about the carboniferous period. It explains how fossil fuels were created, through the compression of decaying plant material that had lots of locked up carbon underneath layers of sediments.
We can't because fossil. Fuels are made from non renewable energy which wil eventually will be finshed
