A vulnerable spot in the body, is the back of the heel, now called the Achilles tendon. This is because Achilles bathed in the river Styx as a baby, and was made invulnerable to pain except in one spot, the back of his heel. When Achilles grew up he became a soldier, and fought for a Greek army, (I think it was Sparta but could be Athens) he became one of the most legendary soldiers in all of Greece, until one day when surrounded by the opposing army. One archer shot an arrow right in the back of his heel, which is why it is now called the Achilles tendon.

Achilles' vulnerable spot was his heel. According to Greek mythology, his mother, Thetis, dipped him into the River Styx to make him invulnerable, but she held him by his heel, which did not come into contact with the water. This left his heel as his only point of weakness, ultimately leading to his downfall when he was struck there by an arrow during the Trojan War.
In Roman Mythologies he is known as Uranus. In Greek is known as Apollo
