The singular for lice is louse. However the word is rarely used as if you find one louse in your hair, there are certainly hundreds of lice there.
They are so small that no-one can see them, so they cannot be eaten by predators.
There is no H, it's ectoparasite. It's merely an external parasite, as fleet, tick and other disgusting louse. The internal one is an endoparasite.
If you have only found one louse, then there could possibly be more. You should go and buy some shampoo that is specifically for the treatment of life and use that to get rid of it.
Body and Head Lice are morphologically identical. Body lice are about 30% larger, Did they mutate into this species?(pediculus humanis corporis) from pediculus capitus ? This is one arthropod. Interesting that the body louse has adapted to 2 different types of human hair, round or oval depending on the human sub-type.
The water louse is a crustacean.
Water Louse obviously live in the water.
