i dk i just answered it because they didnt answer it yey lol
Yes. White tigers have a mutation in their genes that makes them white, and they are the offspring of siberian tigers and bengal tigers.
White Siberian Tigers have never existed. The only tigers known to produce white offspring are Bengal Tigers. No other species of tiger has ever been documented as white.
White tigers are just like regular tigers except they're white. They produce 3-4 cubs, just like other tigers. However, for all tigers, only 1 from the litter is likely to survive.
White tigers aren't a separate species, they're simply a Bengal tiger with an unusual fur color. As such, they'll happily breed with other tigers if they get the chance. In fact, being so rare, a White tiger in the wild would pretty much have to breed with a normal-colored one, if it is to have any chance of breeding. Holding out for another White - if tigers thought that way - wouldn't be an option.
White Bengal tigers are solitary animals and typically live alone. They are known to establish large territories to roam and hunt for food by themselves. Interaction with other tigers may occur during mating or when raising offspring.
Breeding of white Bengal tigers involves selecting individuals with the white coloration gene to produce offspring with the desired trait. To maintain genetic diversity, it is important to follow responsible breeding practices and avoid inbreeding. Conservation efforts may also focus on reintroducing captive-bred white tigers to their natural habitat to bolster wild populations.
white tigers
Because they are white.
Tigers can only usually have 3-4 cubs.
White Bengal tigers are the ONLY white tiger, white Siberian tigers do not exist. People just mistake white Bengals for siberians.
"I believe the White Tiger is a mutation and not a species. One could argue that with fewer "normal" tigers, there is less chance for mutations to take place and the White Tigers fate is linked to that of the normal ones." Yes, the White Tiger is not a species as the zoos would have you believe. They are a mutation, a genetic anomaly. They are most often inbred, Father to daughter/grand-daughter, brother to sister and it's only done this way for their white color. All the offspring that isn't white colored or is disformed are killed or abandoned. Only 20% of the offspring survive, smaller still is the percentage of babies that are genetically healthy. And even smaller still is the amout of white tigers that can be used for showing and training. White tigers are merely white Bengal tigers, and are found in India.
