The wishlist is an area where you can put things you would like to buy or remember about for a later date. It might be books or music you would like but don't plan to purchase right now, i.e., a reminder list (on Amazon.com)

Where are good places to look for electronic learning toys?

Electronic toys are the hottest items on many childrens wishlists this year. While they were once a rarity, they have become common enough now that they are available at almost any retailer that sells toys. Toys R Us, Target, Walmart, and Amazon are all retailers that carry a wide selection of toys, and each have a great return policy incase you discover that the toy is not suited to your child.

Can you ask for gift certificates as wedding gifts?

It is far better to go on a bridal registry at different stores either online or at the stores themselves. This way the bride and groom to be can pick out what they would like as a gift and mark it off so guests will know what to buy them and not duplicate gifts. Larger online retailers allow you to create "wishlists" these are items you want to receive. Your guests can then choose a gift from the list, once purchased that particular gift will be removed or marked as purchased from the wishlist.

Who is right Jews or Palestinians?

This is one of those questions where the Asker appears to be looking for a number of opinions vindicating each side. The problem is that both sides have legitimacy in certain claims and extremists who would rather derail the process of negotiations than not get everything in their wishlists. The Jews and the Palestinians who truly want to live together in peace respecting each others' Rights to Exist, are in the Right and those who would rather stir up antagonism and hatred on both sides are in the Wrong.

Okso I am only ten and I don't know how to tell my parents I love the Jonas Brothershelp me?

It depends. Would your parents not like the Jonas Brothers? Do they disagree with what your parents stand for? If the answer is yes or no to those questions, I would slowly work up to it. Start listening to their music. Tell your parents you have a new favorite song. Let them listen to it and they will probably ask who it is by. Tell them Jonas Brothers and kinda tell them a little bit about the Jonas Bros. Then start going on fan websites, then to posters, then putting like every Jonas item on your holiday and birthday wishlists. I'm not sure if this helped, but I hope it goes okay and your parents like them too! thank you this kinda gave me an idea of what to do!

What do you think Palestinians and the Jews should do about their disagreement?

Firstly, both sides need to come terms with two important facts.1) Israel and Palestine Are Not Going Anywhere: Some Jews have the sense that eventually the Arab World will take the Palestinians off of them or enough will go into the Palestinian Diaspora that they will disappear. Some Palestinians believe that if they wait long enough, Israel will crumble. Both are unfounded, but lead to each side being willing to prolong the conflict in search of ultimate victory.2) Compromise Is Necessary: Jews and Palestinians have very long wish lists. Some things on the Jewish wish list are non-starters for Palestinians such as a Unified Jerusalem, Autonomy - but not Independence, Maintenance of certain Settlements, and others. Some things on the Palestinian wish lists are non-starters for the Jews such as: the Return of Refugees, Any more land than the 1949 borders, Complete Control of the Old City, among others. Each side has to be willing to compromise the items on its wishlist so that there is a mutually acceptable solution.Solutions typically involve using the 1949 borders with equal size land swaps as viable solutions. The Geneva Initiative of 2003 is a good example of this type of solution and is what the Jews and Palestinians would be able to do if they would just compromise on their wishlists.

A Teacher's Wish list Throughout the School Year?

Individuals who are entering the classroom for the first time need to strategically plan how they will ask parents for donations. For example, teachers can create a classroom newsletter to keep parents informed about classroom events and this would be the perfect opportunity to publicize one's classroom wishlists. Parents are willing to help out if they understand how their contribution will impact their child's education. Parents already know that each year their child must take supplies to school. However, parents may not know that these supplies usually last for about 3-4 months depending on how students and teachers use the resources. Common items that should always be on a teacher's wish list are the following:Hand Sanitizer: Hand sanitizer is needed in the classroom to keep students germ free and healthy when working with others or touching items that may cause germs such as the pencil sharpener, community items such as glue, scissors, or construction paper.Kleenex or Tissue: Kleenex is always needed in the classroom especially during the winter months because so many children are sick and may have runny noses. Kleenex should always be kept in the classroom because one never knows when one is needed.Pencils and Pens: Pencils and Pens are needed in the classroom so that children can write down the information that they learn and process it on paper. Teachers can help students understand the importance of keeping up with their belongings so that parents do not have to keep replenishing these items.Spiral Notebooks/ Composition Notebooks: Depending on the subject, students may write a great deal of information and will need another notebook by the end of the school year. Therefore, teachers may ask parents to supply their child with another notebook or put the item on the classroom wish list.Arts and Crafts: There may be a new project that was not preplanned and teachers may find themselves needing additional arts and crafts such as glue, craft sticks, or glitter. These items would be perfect to place on the classroom wish list as parents may have these items lying around the house somewhere.Healthy Snacks: Depending on the grade level, children may still have scheduled snack breaks and it is important that they learn how to eat healthy snacks. Most teachers give a list of healthy snacks in which parents can buy. These items will always be on a teacher's wish list. However, teachers can find good shopping deals that have these items on sale for a low price giving teachers the opportunity to purchase them and add new items on the classroom wish list that will help enrich a child's education.

How To Get Into Fashion Week?

For a fashion lover attending fashion week is akin to a football fanatic getting to see the Superbowl in person. Yeah, it's that serious. The difference is that anyone with enough cash get get a ticket to the big game. On the otherhand, fashion shows are by invitation only. Still, in recent years the advent of the Internet and the booming blogosphere has loosened the velvet ropes enough that lowly commoners have a (slim) shot at getting into the shows. Here are few ways that you might finagle your way into the suprisingly unglamourous world that is a fashion show.Register as PressNew York Fashion Week is sponsored by Mercedes-Benz and the event's official site makes that very clear. Accordingly, realize that this is a commercial endeavor and there will be money changing hands. Head on over to mbfashionweek.com/register and be prepared to fork over 80 bucks. Obviously, you should have some sort of media affiliation - even if it's just a blog. That's right, bloggers are in the mix now. A well established blog with a steady audience is most likely to be noticed and invited, but you never know. Note that registering does NOT guarantee entry into ANY show. However, the list will be distributed and may fall into the hands of a show that's in need of warm bodies to fill seats. It might not (and by might, I mean won't) be Marc Jacobs, but it'll be someone making a decent effort. Hey, you gotta start somewhere and you might even luck out and discover some great new fashion talent.Solicit InvitesYou never know until you ask. The fashion world often comes across as snooty and exclusive and, well, let's be honest, it often is. But you'd be surprised at what you can get if you simply ask... just don't be afraid of rejection. Go to designers web sites and look up contact info emails and phone numbers. Call with or send polite messages inquiring about invites. Even informal channels like Twitter and Facebook are good ways to get in touch with the appropriate folks. In fact, these social media accounts are often adminstered by PR representatives, who are exactly the people you need to chat with to get that golden ticket.Win a ContestOkay, this might sound like silly advice, but it's truly sound! As fashion week opens up and brands and companies start using web tools more for marketing, there are more and more opportunities to win a fashion week experience. Many of them involve creating fantasy outfits and wishlists online - activities which most fashionophiles love to do anyway! Here are a few sites that are currently running contests for fashion week trips and tickets:Inside DVFPolyvoreFashiolistaFashionologieGood luck!

Who is right the Israelis or Palestinians?

This is one of those questions where the Asker appears to be looking for a number of opinions vindicating each side. The problem is that both sides have legitimacy in certain claims and extremists who would rather derail the process of negotiations than not get everything in their wishlists. The Israelis and the Palestinians who truly want to live together in peace respecting each others' Rights to Exist, are in the Right and those who would rather stir up antagonism and hatred on both sides are in the Wrong. Some arguments on each side are as follows.Israel:1) UN Resolution 181: In 1947 the UN Partition Plan, which was passed into law split the British Mandate of Palestine into a Jewish and Arab State. The Jews decided to agree with the Partition even though the Arabs refused. Because the Resolution passed, Israel had the Right to Declare a State, which they did.2) Wars Won: Israel fought for its right to exist and has fought three existential wars (the Arab-Israeli War of 1948-9, the Six-Day War of 1967, and the Arab-Israeli War of 1973). In each conflict, it was only by Israeli perseverance and cunning that the territory was maintained. If Israel had lost any of these wars, regardless of its international legal case, it would have been denied the ability to re-declare a State.3) Jewish Nationalism: Jews have lived in other nations under other governments for two millennia and were either actively or passively discriminated against. Israel represents to Jews the guarantee that even if the situation in their current Diaspora country turns sour, they have somewhere to go. This guarantee of a homeland has actually been used in various waves such as the Post-Holocaust refugees, the Mizrahi Exodus, Operations Joshua and Solomon in Yemen and Ethiopia, and the Russian Immigration in the 1990s.4) Population Exchanges: Just as Palestinians left the British Mandate of Palestine, Jews were forced to leave the Arab World in roughly the same numbers. Around 720,000 Palestinian Arabs fled the new state of Israel, whereas 850,000 Jews fled from Arab countries with 500,000 settling in Israel. As a result, just as Israel took in Mizrahi Jews fleeing the Arab World, it would be contingent on Arab countries to take in Palestinian Arabs fleeing the Jewish State.5) Jewish Holy Sites: Israel is home to numerous holy Jewish sites across the country, harkening back to the Jewish biblical past and imagery. In addition, the holiest site in the world for the Jewish people is the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.Palestine:1) Original Inhabitants: This is the strongest case for the Palestinians and goes back to how the Palestinians lived in the British Mandate of Palestine for at least 800 years as the consistent majority of people in the territory. They have love and reverence for the land and consider it to be an intrinsic part of their identity.2) Atrocities have no Statute of Limitations: Many Palestinians assert that Israelis stole their land and possessions from 1920-1949, most violently during the Arab-Israeli War of 1948-9 when numerous massacres were perpetrated by Jewish militias to secure the exodus of the Palestinian People. These Palestinians assert that Israel should not be allowed to profit from this seizure of territory.3) Muslim and Christian Holy Sites: The Palestinians have numerous holy sites that pertain to their religions as well in the British Mandate of Palestine. Jerusalem holds Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock, the third most holy sites in all of Islam. There are also the Christian Monuments such as the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the cities of Nazareth and Bethlehem. Many Palestinian Muslims and Christians want to live in these places as they used to.4) Arab Reception: Palestinians have been confined to refugee camps and occasionally attacked in violent pogroms by their Arab neighbors (like the attack on Sabra and Shatila in 1982 and Nahr El-Bared in 2007). Palestinians assert like the Jews that nobody is really looking out for their best interests other than other Palestinians and this is why they could never truly settle in another Arab State.5) Never Allowed to Declare a State: Whether the Palestinians accepted UN Resolution 181 or not, they were never given an opportunity to Declare the Arab State which that Resolution gave them the right to do. After the Arab-Israeli War of 1948-9, Jordan and Egypt occupied the West Bank and Gaza Strip, effectively preventing the nascent Palestinian organizations from becoming a nation, even though they may have wanted to do so. In the present day, the United States has actively tried to prevent Palestinian access to the forums that would allow it to declare its Right to be a State because of its protection of Israel.
