Male. That's the only word I can think of that would actually describe a man, unless you are looking for the plural of man which is men, but you did as for the "M" word to describe man, not men.

Although the word "male" is used to describe all "men" male species, it is definitely used to describe a man. A man is a male or the "male" of our species.
