depending on how the person is unique or unusual you could call them a:
weirdo, freak, savant (someone who has an extrodinary special gift or talent but can have other social or mental disorders, a good example would be a "human calculator" with aspergers syndrome, I recommend looking up human calculators as they are amazing!!!)
other terms could be in different circumstances:
loner, oddity, anomily (or human anomily), wacko, creep (if appropriate in the situation) etc...
although basically all of these terms are nasty (savant is good). There are probably other terms which label an unusual or unique person more nicely but I could'NT think of any
