A word toolbar is where you change the font or size
The main elements on the word toolbar depend on the version of word you have.

It is a toolbar that shows all your different tools by going to view then toolbars. Simply choose and enjoy! It includes tools that allow you to draw pictures, make word art and coloring them.
If you click on the double arrows of the toolbar at the top, you can easily drag it to the side of the screen.
It is on the Picture toolbar. The toolbar will appear when you have a picture selected. You can turn it on by going to the View menu, then Toobars, and clicking the Picture toolbar. That will turn it on and leave it on.

From the upper toolbar pick Tools - Word Count and voila. :-)

AutoShapes is the third item from the left on the Drawing toolbar. To see the Drawing toolbar: View menu > Toolbars > Drawing If "Drawing" is already ticked, the Drawing toolbar is already on the screen, so do not click it. By default, the Drawing toolbar is docked horizontally near the bottom of the Word window, immediately above the status bar.
