Octopi lay eggs, as many as 200,000 in some species. Once the eggs have hatched, they are simply referred to as octopus larvae (an immature stage).

Baby tree octopi would be called hatchlings or larva. As many as 200,000 eggs are hatched by a female octopus. Unfortunately the soft eggs are designed to survive in seawater, receiving oxygen through their porous shells. On land, no little tree octopi would hatch. The amphibious tree octopus is, actually, a 1998 website hoax intended to parody ecological movements. The species is entirely fictional.

A baby octopus does not have a scientific name. When they are first born they are known as octopus hatchlings and are about the size of a flea.
