sodium and chloride make table salt
Pure salt is a compound made from Sodium (Na) and Chlorine (Cl). Its formula is NaCl and it is a pure substance not a mixture. However, most salt you purchase from a shop as' Table Salt' is iodised (for health reasons) and contains anti caking agents (to make it run). That is, it has had iodine other substances added to it. This makes Table Salt a mixture.
KI (potassium iodide) is a compound that is commonly added to table salt as a source of iodine. To check if KI is added to table salt, you can look for any mention of iodine or iodide on the ingredient list of the salt packaging. Additionally, the salt may be labeled as "iodized salt" or may mention that it contains potassium iodide or iodine.
Table salt is sodium chloride - sodium and chlorine
Iodine is added to table salt (as NaI, NaIO3, KI or KIO3).
Iodine (as potassium iodide or potassium iodate) is obligatory added to table salt to prevent cretinism.
iodine
Uniodized salt is a table salt which has no added Iodine.
sodium
Table sugar and table salt are a pure substances unless the salt is labeled iodized salt. Iodized salt is regular table salt with tiny amounts of an iodine compound added such as potassium iodide or sodium iodide. The iodine is added because many people have an iodine deficit which can lead to thyroid problems.
Generally it does not. Table salt is sodium chloride. However, some table salt has small amounts of calcium silicate added as an anti-clumping agent.
Chemical formula of salt is NaCl. A few drops of KI is also added to table salt. Salt is made from sea water.
The rock salt is refined to obtain table salt: also iodine (as potassium iodide or iodate) and anticaking agents are added to table salt.

Iodine is often added in traces to prevent this.
Iodine is added for that purpose.
