The advantages of cotton include, inexpensive, there is an unlimited supply. And it can be worn in the summer (warm days), or winter, (cool days). Cotton also absorbs water and moisture easily. It is a natural fiber so it is hypo allergenic, biodegradable, easily cleaned, breathable, light and easily colored.
