I'm not certain what you mean by alphanumerically, or in what sense this relates to Japanese.
short answer:make an "open" action, "batch" that action to a folder containing your files, tada! files will open in the order they are namelong answer:1 - make a file called "for_open_action.psd" or .jpg or whatever, and save it anywhere that wont accidentally get 'trashed" and "emptied"2 - create an new "action' from the "actions panel" and name it "open" for convenience3 - while it is "recording" go "file/open" and find the file you made in step 14 - put all the alphanumerically named files (and nothing but) in a folder of their own5 - go to "file/automate/batch...", in the dialog box set "action" to "open", then "folder/choose..." to the folder you made in step 4 then "destination" to "none"6 - hit "ok"all the files will open in the order they are currently named, not the order they used to be named, nor in the order they were created, nor in order they were last saved in, nor in some other useless random order photoshop seems to open them inPS, yes the file you created in step 1 will also be open, but that is easy to close that one file, small price to pay for the control you now have with the above "action", fun times

The "inch" or "fractional" system does not always have an exact fractional equivalent. This is the case for 37mm. The decimal equivalent of 37mm would be approx. 1.457 inches. The closest 1/16th is 1-7/16" To me, the fractional system is very confusing, nor does it sort well alphanumerically versus size, which is a major flaw as we continue forward in the computer age. The fractional "equivalent" for any millimeter measurement also depends on the tolerance you are looking for (1/16th or 1/64th or 1/1000th, etc.). Because all of this fraction and conversion stuff is so complicated, and millimeters are usually simple counting numbers, I would suggest you just use millimeters for the best fit. If you absolutely need a conversion because you are using a mill or lathe that cannot use millimeters, you may wish to upgrade to one that can. If you take some time to work with metric units, you fill find that they are in fact much less complicated overall, and that you can do most jobs faster because of fewer calculations. Direct Conversion Formula37 mm* 1 in 25.4 mm = 1.456692913 in or 1 7/16th

I searched quite a few sites, and just couldn't find anything! Then I decided to try something, which is probably not too graceful for FreeProxy (too many duplicates, if you follow the Help instructions), but I regard it as a good start.Awhile ago I downloaded a HOSTS file from http://www.mvps.org/ to use with just about any host a come across. I would make minor changes and updates on my notebook, then update various platforms and servers from the updated file. This file came in handy, since it already included a bunch of URLs. All I had to do is to strip out the excess text that FreeProxy doesn't like.# Download a copy of the HOSTS file.# To do the first part of the job, I used an advanced text editor, TextMorph, to replace the # comments at the end of most lines with # (using an ASCII search and replace function, replace '35'with '13 35'). # Now a spreadsheet program can be used to simply sort all the lines alphanumerically. # I got rid of the first about-5000 lines, since the # lines are really dead weight now. # The file was saved as a text file again. # In FreeProxy, I created a category called Hosts, really just to differentiate amongst other categories I was testing with. # FreeProxy imported around 16500 entries in less than 20 seconds.* Utilities to do this are available on the Internet as freeware or shareware, should you still have to get them. * HOSTS file is free for download as well. * Quick start for FreeProxy, since the download site doesn't offer a ban list.* No Categories in this ban list, so really bulky control to start off with. * Many duplicates! To learn more about these, just read the Help in FreeProxy. I'm not sure whether these will impact on performance, but in theory it will, if just a little.
