iat stands for intake air temperature so it is on the intake side between the air filter and the intake throttle body
The IAT sensor is probably on the throttle body and you hook you module to the dianostics connector just under the driver side of the dash.
The IAT (intake air temperature) sensor should be in the air intake snorkel between the MAF (mass air flow) sensor and the throttle body.
NO it does not.
That year did not use a IAT sensor, That's why you can't find it.
what are the colors of the wires of the IAT/MAF for a Chevy silverado 2007 1500 4.8L
That year DID NOT USE THEM.
The intake air temperature (IAT) is located inside the intake housing close to the air filter.
The IAT on a 2006 Chevy HHR is part of the MAF sensor. You will find the IAT located on the large air box under the hood of the Chevy HHR.
They were not used on that year.
The IAT ( idle air temperature ) sensor is built in to the MAF ( mass air flow ) sensor.
what color are the wires that run my iat on a chevy silverado 2000 5.3 2wd.
I have a 2008 Cobalt 2.2 and it has came to my conclusion that the IAT sensor and the MAF sensor are integrated together. they are the sensor that plugs into the intake tube about 3 inches from the air cleaner box.
