A carnivorus animal. For an example, a lion.
Carnivores and omnivores eat other animals and herbivores and other omnivores eat plants.
If an animal eats another animal, its purpose of the kill is to eat and feed others. If a carnivore is a carnivore, it eats other animals. If it can't catch prey, it dies. And if all of the carnivores die, the population of the prey it ate will take over, and those animals will eat trees that other animals live in (if were thinking the prey is a herbivore) So, animals that eat other animals fulfill other animals to live.
ALL animals are consumers, because no animal makes its own food. All animals are either herbivores (eat plants only), carnivores (eat other animals only) or omnivores (eat both plants and other animals).
Maybe humans we sort of eat forest fruits?
For the same reason any other animal eats. To survive.
Well, foxes eat rabbits, wolves eat rabbits, fishes eat other fish, even us we eat animals.
If it eat plants, it is a herbivore. If it eats meat, it is a carnivore. If it eats both, it is an omnivore.
Mammals that eat flesh of other animals are called carnivores.
A lot of animals. Such as cat eat canned tuna, a lot of other animals does
Lion,Tiger,Crocodile,Eagle, and all animals that eat other animals
An animal that only eats plants is referred to as an herbivore. A specific example would be a cow. An animal that "primarily" eats plants would also, on occassion, eat meat, thus being an omnivore. A specific example of an omnivore would be humans.Herbivore
If they eat their own kind, they are calledcannibals. If they eat only meat, they are called carnivores.
