I would say about 10 or 11 but it really depends on maturity like if you know to wash it off at night and to make it look natural and not put on too much but the youngest is probaly 10

yeh and im 12 but i don wer makeup soo yeh some ppl dont EVR wear makeup or start as late as 16, i no 14 yr olds who don wear makeup, i think u should start wen ur ready, some ppl get rashes wearring makeup

You should really start wearing makeup at age 13. that is when you become a teenager. If you start at 10,11,or 12 you look ridiculous. The reason is because you haven't matured enough and you most likely still look like a kid.

Im I really don't agree with what this says^^^^^^^^becouse a lot of people at 11&12 know how to make it look natural and I'm pretty sure their perants wouldn't let them out the house if they looked "ridiculous" and people up to seventeen can still look like a "kid" so I'm sorry about the brag but I hope this is helpful �

I think that 13 years old is a good age to start. Although I wouldn't spend too much money on cosmetics, try to go for a cheap bargain but a good price like e.l.f cosmetics. I have a 13 year old daughter and I allow her to wear the e.l.f tone correcting concealer for $1 and the elf lengthening and defining mascara for $1. Hope this helps!

I believe in high school im in year 7 and all i wear is lipgloss and i get my eye lashes tinted.

It really all depends on how the girl feels about her own appearance. Some girls have natural beauty and feel that they don't have to wear make up to enhance it. Others realize that as they begin to crawl into their teenage years, they appearance becomes less like it used to be when they were younger. How their peers feel about the subject also has a major impact on what age the girl wishes to start wearing make-up at. In my case, all of the girls that I go to school with -and by all I mean ALL (very small school)- wear make-up...that is except for me. (Mother doesn't approve) Because I'm am often prohibited from average activities that most girls enjoy, (make-overs, doing hair, doing each others make-up, ect.), I am often presented with the strong desire to be able to wear make-up, even though my friends tell me that I look fine without it. However, when I was attending a different school, one in which wearing make-up wasn't very popular among the girls, it didn't really matter to me that I wasn't aloud to wear make-up as often. So never believe anyone who gives you a definite age at which every girl should start wearing make-up, because everyone is different. Saying that all girls should start wearing make-up at the same time is like saying they should all get married at the same time, or have children at the same time, or retire at the same time. As with everything else, it is completely up to the young woman's decision. (With her parents' approval, of course!)

I started wearing it when I was a freshman in high school. But I am not like most girls

who have to wear it all the time. Yes I wear it to school and if I'm going out. But on the weekends it's not needed. So, yes I think high school is the right time to start but also don't let them get obssesed with it.

Otherwise you shouldn't really wear it in grade 3/4 because 8-10 year olds can have very bad heigene habits. No offence little people.

4TH GRADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO WAY! THAT IS WAY TOO EARLY. I BELIEVE 9TH GRADE! THEY NEED TO BE MATURE ENOUGH TO USE IT! 3TH, 4TH, 5TH, 6TH THEY ARE STILL NOT YET MATURE ENOUGH TO WEAR IT! I wear it. I started in 5th grade.I go naturual though. Golden or brown eyeshadow to bring out my blue eyes and pink or gold lipgloss. I sometimes wear mascara, but i don't like too. It makes your eye lashes fall out...I'm saving mascara for 8th or 9th grade. Maybe even later. If i have pimples or whatever, i dab my mom's creme stuff on it. If you put it all over your face, it clogs your pores. Or however you spell it. i THINK i will do eyeliner in 7th grade...right now, I'm just experimenting with all this stuff. Lavender eyeshadow can look really pretty on special days, and for parties (if you don't put it on too dark)!!! dark blue and black look best on Asian girls or girls with black hair. Blue eyes are best with gold, brown, or pink shades of eye shadow. Pink blush and/or gold/pink lipgloss looks nice with blonde hair blue eyes, brown hair blue eyes and rarely black hair blue eyes. Black, gray, dark blue, and gold looks nice for eyeshadow for people with brown eyes and black hair (asain). There lipgloss colors are gold, red, and pink. For gray eyes, gray-ish blue, gray-ish green...etc are good eyeshadow shades. Lipgloss is free to choose for these eye colors. Green eyes look good with torquoise, green, and brown eyeshadow. Cherry pink lipgloss or a purple-ish color is good for people with brown hair green eyes. If you are red head, shades of pink, berry colors, and naturual shades are good for blush, eyeshadow, and lipgloss/lipstick. Hope this helped

I would say that it would depend on how you feel. If you feel that you need to put it on then i guess you should, but if you put it on because all your friends do it then that would mean your a follower. If you asked me though i would probably say 8th and 9th grade.

I am in ^th grade, and i wear the whole lot. shadow, liner, mascara, everything. it just feels natural. its not "wrong" its just an everyday part of my life. i look different without it. this, coming from an 11 year old with the body of a 13 yr old and mind of a 40 yr old, its just normal.

I'm nearly eighteen, and I would say that around thirteen or fourteen is a good age. By this time, kids have a good idea of what is too much (at least a better idea than if they were eleven, for example) and what colors would compliment their skin, eye color, etc. However, many kids much younger than that begin to wear make-up; however, I find it strange to see kids as young as ten or even nine wearing mascara and blush or even sometimes foundation. If kids younger than thirteen or fourteen want to wear make-up, I would suggest fun, bright lip colours or very light eye shadows, and really no face make-up.

There is no one best age for a girl to start wearing makeup. Some people feel that since makeup is a means to portray sexual maturity and fecundity, prepubescent girls should not wear makeup.

Okay, I am ** and my cousin started doing my makeup at age 9 (almost 10.) I'd say you should start when you are... about 15-20.
