do you mean asteroid?
an asteroid are the thousands of lumpy rocksthat circle around the sun in a large band between Mars and Jupiter. the biggest asteroid, Ceres is approx. 640km across. most asteroids are much much smaller. over 5000 asteroids have been identified by astronomers so far.
