electromagnetic junkyard crane
A crane or junkyard crane uses an electromagnet to pick magnetic items up. The crane controls the electromagnet by using a a circuit that has a wire wrapped around a piece of metal that can be magnetized that's at the end of the crane's arm. When the circuit completes, the metal at the end of the cranes arm gets temporarily magnetized. When the current stops, the metal get demagnetized and can't pick things up anymore.
a school bell, the earths core and a junkyard magnet
A Junkyard crane lifts up metal and other scrap substances from the heaps of junk to either put it in the crusher or to place it somewhere else.
There is an electromagnet in that crane
increase the current on the electromagnet
A scrapheap crane works simply by a piece of soft iron surrounded in coper coiled coil and a electromagnet. when the switch is activated a current is sent from the battery to the electromagnet!
A junkyard or recycling center may employ a large magnet crane to move metal objects and scrap. It is an electromagnet : with the power turned on, it attracts the ferrous materials to its metal disk. When the crane has reached the desired location (pile, container, or truck), the power is turned off and the magnetic attraction ceases, dropping the materials.
Wrap wire around a metal core. Like all other electromagnets.
Its called an electromagnet
A device on the end of a crane to lift cars and junk
The crane is in the junkyard. Go to the far right. Jump onto the boxes while avoiding Crusher's thumps. Then jump onto the car Crusher is standing on. Then climb the scaffolding. You will be at the crane.
A junkyard electromagnetic crane simply seperates metal objects from the non-metals ones. This is to ease the workload of the workers from separating them manually.
