My first example is about Pavlov's dogs. This man, Pavlov, would ring a bell right before he fed his dogs. Soon he could ring a bell and the dogs would salivate instantly.

Another example are the bears at Yellowstone. Back in Yellowstone's history, people would feed the bears. Soon the bears associated cars, tents, and people with food, and learned to run right up for snacks. This got dangerous, of course.

Any kind of animal training is learned behavior as well.

Examples of simple behavior?

behavior is the way that all organisms or living things respond to stimuli in their environment. Stimuli include chemicals, heat, light, touch, and gravity. For example, plants respond with growth behavior when light strikes their leaves. Behavior can be categorized as either instinctive (present in a living thing from birth) or learned (resulting from experience). The distinction between the two is often unclear, however, since learned behavior often includes instinctive elements.
