An Isotonic contraction is when a muscle becomes longer or shorter to produce force and therefore an example is a bicep curl. During the downward phase your muscle (bicep) lengthens and during the upward phase your muscle (bicep) shortens.
Isometric and Isotonic Contraction
Walking is an example of isotonic type of contraction. These are contractions which will force the length of the muscle to change and cause movement.
An Isotonic muscle contraction is a muscle contraction that makes your limbs move whereas an Isometric contraction is a muscle contraction where the limbs stay static
isotonic contraction!
B. isotonic contraction
This is muscle flexion or isotonic contraction.
It is called concentric isotonic contraction.
Eccentric contraction (isotonic)
Isotonic contraction
Isometric exercises involve muscle contraction without movement, isotonic exercises involve muscle contraction with movement, and isokinetic exercises involve muscle contraction at a constant speed.

Isometrics can be given at different angles within a joint range whereas statics are given at beginning of range
