Hail stones are stones that get sweeped up in thunder storms. Then they freeze and turn into Ice which can be slippy so watch wear boots that are not slippy and ones that is good for the snow or wear wellingtons they are good for ice and snow and even the rain never wear trainers cause they can be slippy would then get sweeped along in the clouds and start falling down as hail.they can hit your face,hands and your neck hard so if anytime there is hailstones be sure to wear a jacket with a hood and put the hood up and look down so that they don't hit you and wear gloves so that they wont hit your hands.
