It's a murder but called an "Honor" killing as it is supposed to preserve the pride and integrity of the family when a member of that family brings shame upon it. Honor killings are rife in Pakistan and Turkey (For example) and though illegal many times the culprits get away with it. Also many suicides now are being looked at as forced suicides where the victim is forced to kill themselves.
