There are two categories of scientific knowledge. One is basic science and the other is applied science. It is generally the applied science used for specific goals. At the same time, all the applied sciences are researched through the basic sciences. There are two categories of scientific knowledge. One is basic science and the other is applied science. I'd suggest the two major divisions would be that separating the life sciences (botany, biology, anthropology ..) from the 'exact sciences' (physics, chemistry, astronomy, nuclear physics ..).
No. Social science jobs have some mathematics involved in them, and some math classes are generally required in school when seeking a social science degree in college. But mathematics is NOT a category within the social sciences. Social science is an "applied science" mathematics is a "pure science", meaning a science unto itself.
Forensic science - application of a broad spectrum of sciences to answer questions of interest to a legal system. This may be in relation to a crime or a civil action. The term is often shortened to forensics. It falls under applied sciences
Pure science is something with a lab component, examples are biology, chemistry, physics, anatomy and physiology. An applied science is a science that incorporates many sciences such as fire science or nutritionan Applied science is the application of scientific knowledge transferred into a physical environment. Examples include testing a theoretical model through the use of formal science, or solving a practical problem through the use of natural science.
Probably mathematics, since it's applied to all sciences.

Natural Science: a scientific field that deals with the objects, phenomena, or laws of nature and the physical world. Some examples of natural sciences are, physics, biology and chemistry. Applied Science: the application of knowledge from one or more natural sciences to slove practical problems. Engineering fields are related to applied sciences. That's a basic overview of the two.
Technische Universität Ilmenau's motto is 'The Spirit of Science'.
its the things made by naturethe branch of knowledge dealing with engineering or applied sciences.

Applied universities would offer you the best opportunities for experimental science. Liberal arts and sciences universities tend to focus more on the conceptual side of things rather than on the practical, so perhaps an applied university would be more beneficial.
Engineering is applied science. This includes practical applications of physics, but also of other sciences.
