I believe your question is incomplete. What is an inert gas and has one more proton... one more proton than what, exactly? Than hydrogen? If so, the answer would be helium.

1 more proton than what? Please clarify. It isn't clear what you are comparing with what.

How many protons neutrons and electrons does the inert gas helium have?

Helium has 2 protons, 2 neutrons, and 2 electrons.

In 1 mole of NO2 gas how many protons are there?

N has 7 protons O has 8 protons (O2 therefore 16) So 1 molecule of NO2 gas has 7 + 16 = 23 protons 1 mole of NO2 gas (6.022 * 1023 molecules) have 138.506 * 1023 protons.

Why only argon is used in electric lamp except any other inert gas?

Argon is more abundant than the other inert gases amounting to approximately 1% of the earth's atmosphere.... It is therefore more readily available and thus it is cheaper.

What is the most most common inert gas in the atmosphere?

The bonds between two atoms of nitrogen (78% of the atmosphere) in the N2 molecule make it inert for many purposes. However under high heat (lightning for example) it reacts with oxygen to form nitrogen compounds. Argon at 1% of the atmosphere is a noble gas and is inert under all atmospheric conditions.

What charge is any atom?

the charge depends on the number of protons or electrons, if more electrons are there than protons there is a -1 charge, if there are more protons then electrons it is a +1 charge. Called Ions

What is the charge of a Xe ion?

1.what is the oxidation state in xenon in HXeO4- and ... xenon is +7. As= +3 ... Xe = +7. As = +3 ... Except when highly electropositive elements are involved

Do you need argon to live?

No. Argon is an inert gas that only makes up 1% of air. It is of little consequence to us.

Why do living things need argon?

Most do not. Argon is inert and comprises less than 1% of the atmosphere (third most abundant gas)

Does Helium with 2 protons and 1 electron form a cation?

Yes, but that is extremely rare as it is a noble gas

How many protons neutrons and electrons has?

Hydrogen is a nonmetal gas. An atom has 1 proton and one electron.

What is the charge on a hypothetical ion with 45 protons and 42 electrons?

It has 3 more protons than electrons. Protons are 1+ and electrons are 1-. So the charge on the hypothetical ion would be 3+

How are helium and hydrogen different?

Hydrogen and helium, both gasses, differ greatly in:the number of protons and electrons (1 or 2),the number of neutrons (0 or 2),their Atomic Mass 1.0 or 4.0 ,and not at least in their reactivity (highly explosive or inert).
