Presumably by "old buck" you mean an old $1 coin. However saying a coin is "old" isn't enough to have any idea of its value. The date, possible mint mark, design, and condition are all very important.
Please either:
- check your coin again and post a new, separate question with that information
- look for existing questions with the wording "What is the value of a <date> US silver dollar, where <date> is the date on your coin.
Depends on the condition. Is it a double struck coin? The date on some of these cents was minted in error and it "appears twice" on the coin. That penny is worth some money. Anything else is worth less than a buck. Usually a lot less. Even the uncirculated1955 D cent is selling for less than a buck.

If it is an old coin it could be worth something depending on the date and the condition.
There is no such coin. Cents were never struck in silver. Among other reasons, that amount of silver would be worth at least $1.25. Even the government wouldn't be foolish enough to sell a buck's worth of silver for 1¢. Your coin has been plated with silver or a silver-colored metal for use in jewelry or as a decoration. That makes it an altered coin worth only face value.
Quarters???? Try dollars! They're being churned out by the billions so unless you have a proof or uncirculated coin in its original mint package any of these coins will be worth face value only, one buck.
There's no US coin called an "old buck coin". What you have is a modern Presidential dollar worth face value only. The dates 1857-1861 are the years that James Buchanan served in office. The minting date 2010 is on the coin's edge.
