Not sure about an 'Osotope'

Isotope: A variation in the number of neutrons in the core of an atom of a given element is an isotope of that element.

Carbon has six protons in the core of the atom. Carbon-12 has six neutrons in its core. Carbon-13 has seven neutrons. Carbon-13 is an isotope of Carbon.
