All types of glacier sedimentary deposits are called drift.

An uneven ridge of gravel, sand, and rock deposited by a melting glacier is called an esker, a kame, or a moraine. Moraines are also found on the surface of the glacier. Kames form on flat or inclined ice, in holes, or in cracks.
