Depends on what you are reflecting ON... If it's not a clear or mirror like surface... then no, if it is, you can still see your reflection on an uneven surface... Why don't you actually EXPERIMENT and try to see it for yourself?

Imagine that you are a fish underwater When you look up to the surface to the water you can see the sky and also the bottom of the pool How do you explain this unusual view?

Reflection and refraction. You see the reflection on the bottom of the surface of the pool. You see the refraction of light through the surface of the pool. This is the super short answer...someone else might provide more information but the reader can "google" reflection and refraction to find out more.

What do you call the reflection of light from a rough surface?

Reflection of light from a rough surface is known as "Diffused" or "Irregular" reflection, because the light rays are barely seen after the reflection of light from a rough surface.

What is it called when an image appears on a surface?

Reflection?

What is the differnce between refraction and reflection?

reflection is when it is reflected; it bounces of the surface while refraction is when it is bent but not reflected

Why can you see your reflection on a shiny surface?

Sometimes, water can act as a mirror. The light that the sun gives off has bounced off of you into the water. When the light reaches the surface of the water, it can do two things. Firstly, it can be refracted underneath the surface. Secondly, it can be reflected back at you and into your eye. Usually, both occurs, although whether enough reflection occurs to make you see your reflection or not depends on several factors. Your eye does something similar. It picks up the light from the sun that has bounced off of objects and creates a picture out of it. While the water acts like a mirror and your eye acts like a lens, the concept is very similar.

Why can't you see your reflection in a brick wall?

=The reason you can't see into a brick wall because light rays are reflected in many directions from the uneven surface.=

What type of reflection describes how light reflects off an uneven surface?

i think diffuse

Which type of reflection allows you to see yourself clearly in the surface of an object?

Regular reflection, it occurs when light beams are reflected at the same angle. When your eye detects the reflected beams, you can see a reflection on the surface.

Why don't you see your reflected image when you at a white rough surface?

If the surface is rought, light may be reflected in just about any direction. There is not the "organized" or "coordinated" reflection which you see in smooth surfaces. If the surface is rought, light may be reflected in just about any direction. What is the term for reflection of a light wave from and uneven surface?

A wave reflecting from an irregular surface experiences what is called as Diffuse or irregular Reflection. If light is reflected from a smooth surface (think of a mirror) then it is called specular reflection. With diffuse reflection, light goes off from the surface in a range of directions which does not create a reflected image. In diffuse reflection, one sees basically a chaotic sampling of light reflected from the object emitting the light and so normally one can detect little about shape and only get information about the colors of the light source.

What is the difference between a specular and a diffuse reflection?

Specular reflection is when light rays reflect off a surface uniformly in a single direction, like a mirror. Diffuse reflection is when light rays reflect off a surface in many different directions, like a matte surface. Specular reflection creates a clear image, while diffuse reflection scatters light in all directions.

Why can you see your reflection on a transparent window at night?

You can always see your reflection in the window, just not as well during the day.The light coming in from outside makes it easier to focus your eyes past the window to your surroundings outside, instead of focusing on the reflection.

Why do you need a mirror to see yourself?

Regular reflection: Occurs when light beams are reflected at the same angle. When your eye detects the reflected beams, you can see a reflection on the surface.
