An x-ray tech certification is a program that's offered through many communities colleges and technical schools. Upon completion of the program, the student is certified to operate an x-ray machine, but not to read the results.
You need to get your associates degree which is two years long. You have to do your general education classes first before you can enroll in the degree program. Then you have to take a national test that certifies you in your state.
